The disposable diaper comprises a chassis having at least a front body (2) and a rear body (3) when it is worn, a liquid permeable top sheet (11) arranged at least partially to the chassis, a liquid impermeable back sheet (14) arranged on one side of the top sheet (11) in the thickness direction thereof, and a liquid retaining absorber (12) arranged between the top sheet (11) and the back sheet (14). The chassis has a first chassis (13A) and a second chassis (13B), and the front body (2) is provided with an overlap portion formed by overlapping the first and second chassis at least partially. The overlap portion has bonding portions (21) for bonding the first and second chassis at respective positions spaced apart from each other while crossing over a substantial center line (C1) extending in the longitudinal direction (LD) of the disposable diaper to divide it into two in the width direction WD, and a nonbonding portion (22) provided between the bonding portions (21).
