The invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to neuroinfections, and can be used for treatment of neurological complications caused by chicken pox (CP) in children. The task is solved due to the fact that in addition to administration of acyclovir, interferon, intravenous immunoglobulins in case of presence of acute period, multi-focus affection of CNS additionally prescribed are: metipred intravenously by drop infusion in daily dose 500-1000 mg 1 time per day, elcar in dose 50-70 mg/kg 1 time per day for 5-7 days, then in dose 50-70 mg/kg per os twice for a month. Acyclovir is administered intravenously by drop infusion in dose of 10-15 mg/kg 3 times per day in combination with viferon in form of rectal suppositories in dose of 500-1 mln IU 2 times per day for 10-14 days, as immunoglobulin administered is intravenous immunoglobulin G in dose 0.4 mg/kg 1 time per day for 3 days. In case if elements of maculopapular rash are present on skin, viferon gel is applied for 3-5 days until the stage of scab formation. Maximally early administration of complex therapy of neurological complications in case of CP contributes to fast positive dynamics and considerable reduction of patients rehabilitation period. Due to application of proposed by the authors complex therapy of neurological complications in case of chicken pox in children, it became possible to improve the disease outcomes, increasing the number of children who fully recovered without neurological complications, with reduction of percentage of formation of residual neurological deficiency, reducing the duration of patients stay at hospital.
