PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely determine a position of a coil unit which includes no mechanism for detecting a position such as a marker or respective positions of a plurality of element coils included in the coil unit.SOLUTION: An array coil in which a plurality of the element coils for receiving magnetic resonance signals from a test subject 200 are arranged is used as an RF coil unit 6b. A reconfiguration section 13 calculates projection data of each element coil in the direction of arrangement of a plurality of the element coils on the basis of a plurality of the magnetic resonance signals received at each of a plurality of the element coils.
