PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for inserting an interaocular lens capable of securely and safely pushing out the lens by a simple structure.SOLUTION: The instrument 1 for inserting the intraocular lens includes a body 3 having a lens installation portion 8 on which the lens 2 is installed, a transient part 12 deforming the lens 2, and a nozzle part 11 discharging the lens 2 and a lens pushout mechanism 4 for pushing out the lens 2 installed on the lens installation portion 8. The lens pushout mechanism 4 includes a plunger 16 which pushes out the lens 2 and a slider 15 having a lens contact portion 20 larger in size than the plunger 16.
