The present invention relates to a cryolipolysis apparatus and a control method thereof. The apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a cooling unit which is in contact with the skin of a subject a thermoelement whose one surface is attached to the cooling unit to cool the same and a heat exchange unit which is attached to the other surface of the thermoelement to cool the heat generated from the thermoelement and a control unit which calculates the temperature of the cooling unit based on counter electromotive force generated from the thermoelement.
