Formulation for oral administration, in the form of tablets or of powder for extemporaneous use, able to exert a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system and having eulipidaemic activity, cholesterol-lowering and triglyceride-lowering activity, antioxidant activity, and a protective action on the vasal endothelium, comprising berberine in combination with a policosanol and/or red yeast and preferably containing an antioxidant, such as astaxanthin and/or folic acid.Linvention concerne une formulation orale se présentant sous la forme de comprimés ou de poudre destinée à une utilisation extemporanée permettant dexercer un effet bénéfique sur le système cardiovasculaire et présentant une activité anti-lipidémique, une activité dabaissement du taux de cholestérol et des triglycérides, une activité anti-oxydante, et une action protectrice sur lendothélium vasculaire. Cette formulation comprend de la berbérine combinée à un polycosanol et/ou de la levure rouge, et de préférence contient un anti-oxydant, notamment de lastaxanthine et/ou de lacide folique.
