To provide a medical apparatus capable of grasping a target position of a subject without a significant delay even when correction of a transparent image is necessary, and a control method and a program of the medical apparatus.SOLUTION: A medical apparatus includes an acquisition unit, a correction unit, a specification unit, and an output control unit. The acquisition unit acquires a transparent image of a subject from an imaging unit. The correction unit corrects an image of one or more predetermined regions used for specifying a target position of the subject of the transparent image based on one or more correction values, but does not correct an image of at least a partial region out of the predetermined regions of the transparent image. The specification unit specifies the target position based on the image corrected by the connection unit.
