PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information sensor capable of accurately determining wear/non-wear thereof on a living body.SOLUTION: A biological information sensor 1 includes: an optical sensor part 11 having a light emitting part 11A and a light receiving part 11B an acceleration sensor part 18 and a wear determination part for determining the wear using the optical sensor part and the acceleration sensor part. The wear determination part sequentially performs, in a stepwise manner: motion state determination processing of determining whether or not the acceleration sensor part detects acceleration ambient light determination processing of determining whether or not the light receiving part does not detect the ambient light proximity determination processing of determining whether or not reflected light is detected by the receiving part, when the light emitting part exits light and biological information determination processing of determining whether or not biological information is acquired from the light detected by the receiving part, when the light emitting part exits light.
