PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive wax separation material for an artificial tooth, which is, in gum formation of a wax denture, applied on the labial face and/or the buccal face of an artificial tooth arranged on a wax rim to form coating so that an excessive wax involved in the gum formation can be easily separated from the artificial tooth and removed.SOLUTION: The material is characterized by containing a nonionic surfactant which is at least one selected from polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether and polyoxyalkylene alkyl phenyl ether, a low-molecular-weight alcohol which has a boiling point of 100°C or less and is liquid at an ordinary temperature, and ion exchange water.
