PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood for an endoscope capable of taking out a mucosal tissue excised by endoscopic mucosal excision easily from inside a body cavity.SOLUTION: A hood 10 which is cylindrical with both open ends includes an installation part 20 on the base end side, and a hood body part 30 extended to the tip side of the mounting part 20. A tip part 110 of an endoscopic 100 is inserted into the installation part 20. A drainage port 34 is opened and formed on a side peripheral surface 32 of the hood body part 30, and a liquid inside the hood body part 30 is discharged through the drainage port 34.
