PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus and an image processing apparatus, enabling reduction in radiation exposure while maintaining image quality.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus converts original image data based on X-rays transmitted through grids and detected by FPD into a plurality of frequency range data and background data, eliminates interference patterns included in at least one of the plurality of frequency range data, reduces noises included in the plurality of frequency range data, corrects scattered ray components included in the background data or data in mid-course of generation after processing by respective processing parts on the basis of difference between scattered ray components included in X-rays transmitted through the grids and scattered ray components included in X-rays transmitted through target grids having higher removal capability of scattered rays than that of the grids, generates image data by synthesizing the plurality of frequency range data after processing by the processing parts, and subjects the image data to correction of the resolution reduced in accordance with MTF characteristics of FPD.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】画質を維持しつつ、被曝を低減させることを可能にするX線診断装置及び画像処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】グリッドを透過してFPDによって検出されたX線に基づく原画像データを複数の周波数帯域データと背景データに変換し、複数の周波数帯域データのうち少なくとも一つに含まれる干渉縞を除去し、複数の周波数帯域データに含まれるノイズを低減し、グリッドを透過したX線に含まれる散乱線成分と、グリッドよりも散乱線の除去能が高い目標グリッドを透過したX線に含まれる散乱線成分との差分に基づいて、背景データ又は各処理部による処理後の生成途中データに含まれる散乱線成分を補正し、各処理部による処理後の複数の周波数帯域データを合成して画像データを生成し、画像データに対して、FPDのMTF特性に応じて低下した解像度を補正する。【選択図】図6
