PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image photographing system which accurately associates image data with photographing order information.SOLUTION: A radiation image photographing system has: a radiation generation device a portable radiation image photographing device 1 which receives radiation from the radiation generation device and generates image data and a console which selects the portable radiation image photographing device 1 used for photographing based on photographing order information and associates the photographing order information with the image data transmitted from the selected portable radiation image photographing device 1 to store them. The portable radiation image photographing device 1 has a selection switch 38 indicating the portable radiation image photographing device to be used for photographing. When the selection switch 38 is operated, a selection signal is transmitted to the console.
