PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin particle capable of easily coating the surface of an amorphous calcium phosphate and suitable as a core particle capable of restraining its dropping, and a method of manufacturing a composite particle suitable for forming a core/shell type composite particle excellent in the uniformity of its coating layer containing the amorphous calcium phosphate, and consequently a cosmetic excellent in the effect of inhibiting makeup-comes-off.
SOLUTION: The resin particle is formed by polymerization of a vinyl monomer and contains a component, either one of a phosphite diester having a specified structure or a partial ester of a phosphoric acid having a specific structure, and used as a core particle for forming a core/shell type composite particle by coating the amorphous calcium phosphate on its surface.
