PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vial adapter capable of restraining the top surface of a vial from being attached with a medical fluid when removing the vial adapter from the vial.SOLUTION: A vial adapter 1 comprises: a valve body 2 which comes into contact with a rubber plug of a vial from the outside and is capable of forming a contact area together with the rubber plug a needle-like part 6 which partitions a hollow part 5 and a piercing member 3 which allows the tip of the needle-like part 6 to penetrate both the rubber plug and the valve body 2 and to be inserted into the vial.
