PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire that exhibits high followability even when passing a complexly curved tubular path.SOLUTION: A guide wire 10 includes a first junction 11 which joins the edge of an inner coil body 60 and a region separated from the edge to the base end side of a core shaft 20, a second junction 12 which joins the base end of the inner coil body 60 and a region of the base end side from the first joint portion 11 of the core shaft 20, a third junction 13 which joins the edge of an outer coil body 50 and the edge of the core shaft 20, and a fourth junction 14 which joins the base end of the outer coil body 50 and the core shaft 20. The outer coil body 50 includes a taper coil part 52, and a definite diameter coil part 53 provided on the tip side of the taper coil part 52.
