The present invention relates to a novel method for preventing and controlling pests based on RNAi technology. Disclosed is a target gene and protein encoded by same which are useful for preventing and controlling lepidopteran insects. Preparing a nucleic acid inhibitor or a host expressing the nucleic acid inhibitor based on the nucleic acid sequence of the target gene can effectively kill lepidopteran insects. The present invention also provides for the use of different fragments of the same gene to obtain insect species specific type and interspecific broad-spectrum type pesticidal preparations and the method thereof.La présente invention concerne un nouveau procédé de prévention et d'élimination des organismes nuisibles fondé sur une technologie d'ARNi. L'invention concerne un gène cible et une protéine codée par celui-ci qui sont utiles pour la prévention et l'élimination des insectes lépidoptères. La préparation d'un inhibiteur d'acide nucléique ou d'un hôte exprimant l'inhibiteur d'acide nucléique fondé sur la séquence d'acides nucléiques du gène cible permet de tuer efficacement les insectes lépidoptères. La présente invention concerne également l'utilisation de différents fragments du même gène pour obtenir des préparations pesticides de type spécifique à une espèce d'insectes et de type interspécifique à spectre large et le procédé associé.
