The present invention relates to an antibiotic peptide targeting a toxin-antitoxin system of Streptococcus pneumoniae, and a use thereof. Specifically, an antibiotic peptide of the present invention inhibits the formation of a toxin-antitoxin complex of Streptococcus pneumoniae, without affecting an active site of a toxin, so as to induce the killing of Streptococcus pneumoniae by means of RNA degradation activity of an isolated toxin, and also exhibits antibiotic activity against other bacteria, thereby being effectively usable as an antibiotic composition.본 발명은 폐렴구균의 독소-항독소 체계를 표적으로 하는 항생 펩타이드 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 본 발명의 항생 펩타이드는 독소의 활성부위에는 영향을 미치지 않으면서 폐렴구균의 독소-항독소 복합체 형성을 억제하고, 그에 따라 분리된 독소의 RNA 분해 활성에 의해 폐렴구균의 사멸을 유도하며, 다른 균들에 대해서도 항생 활성을 나타내므로, 항생용 조성물로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
