[Problem] To provide a device for microwave aging whereby the time required to age a food can be shortened and the yield thereof can be improved. [Solution] A device for microwave aging which comprises a microwave aging unit 30 comprising an aging chamber housing a food therein, an irradiation port irradiating microwave to the aging chamber and a blower fan blowing air into the aging chamber, a cooling unit 10 comprising a cooling chamber cooled with a cooler, a microwave oscillation unit 20 connected to the irradiation port and a control unit 40, wherein the aging chamber is disposed within the cooling chamber, and a method for microwave aging using the aforesaid device.
