A method of making a pharmaceutically active ingredient abuse-prevention device includes providing a pharmaceutically active ingredient (12) and providing an antagonist (14) of the pharmaceutically active ingredient (12). The antagonist (14) is in selective fluid communication with the pharmaceutically active ingredient (12). Electronic circuitry (20) is configured to selectively operate the fluid communication between the antagonist (14) and the pharmaceutically active ingredient (12) so as to mix the pharmaceutically active ingredient (12) with the antagonist (14) upon recognition of one or more predetermined fault conditions. Mixing the pharmaceutically active ingredient (12) with the antagonist (14) renders the pharmaceutically active ingredient (12) substantially ineffective.Cette invention concerne un procédé de réalisation dun dispositif empêchant les abus dagents pharmaceutiques, qui consiste à former un agent pharmaceutique (12) et à former un antagoniste (14) de cet agent pharmaceutique (12).
