SOLUTION: The pearly particle of polyvinyl alcohol for a blood vessel-temporarily embolizing agent has a saponification degree of 90 mol% or more and an average particle size of 70 &mum-1,000 &mum, and the blood vessel-temporarily embolizing agent is obtained by mixing or dissolving the particle.
