Disclosed is a device for cleaning outer hairs of a pet by means of a modulated array of combs and for removing missing hairs. The comb array gradually changes from coarse to fine for the comb-to-comb spacing, the thermal column spacing, and the comb tooth diameter in the opposite direction of the hair trim operation. The combs arranged on the curves also have lengths modulated for each row from long to short, so that the combs collect hair that is missing from the base of the pet's outer hairs and from the outer hairs. The modulation described above allows the user to untangle and remove missing hair from the outer hairs of the pet using this single instrument. There is also an integrated magnetic cleaning mechanism that amplifies the user's input to create a large cleaning stroke to remove the collected hair, which includes a rough area with long combs.
