PURPOSE: An implantable medical device and a control method thereof are provided to control the access of outside equipment to the implantable medical device. CONSTITUTION: An implantable medical device comprises a medical activity part, a code generation part(220), and a main controller(204). The medical activity part performs medical activity in the human body. The code generation part senses the operation state of a user and generates an action code showing the intention of the user based on the detected operation state. The controller controls the medical activity of the medical activity part according to the action code. The medical activity part collects the state information of the user.체내에 이식되어 사용될 수 있는 생체 이식 의료장치(Implantable Medical Device)에 관한 것으로, 사용자의 의도를 기반으로 외부 장비에 대한 생체 이식 의료장치의 상태정보에 대한 접근제어를 쉽게 할 수 있다.
