PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fungicidal composition for wood, which is effective against a wide range of fungi against which sufficient effects could not have been obtained by the combinations of conventional chemicals, and to provide a method for preventing fungi of wood with the composition.SOLUTION: This fungicidal composition for wood is characterized by comprising at least one of iminoctadine or its salts, and at least one antimicrobial compound selected from the group consisting of azole-based compounds, isothiazoline-based compounds, imidazole-based compounds, pyridine-based compounds, iodine-based compounds, thiocyanate-based compounds, and quaternary ammonium salt compounds.
