The device has a frame (C) provided with an attachment unit formed of an arm (12) and clevis (14) for attaching the device to an agricultural machine. A pair of movable tool carrying modules (18) is provided with tools, where the tools are placed on right and left lateral sides (D, G) of the frame and retracted laterally. Each module includes a head associated with a connection unit (30) to the frame. The head has a fixed plate secured to the connection unit. The fixed plate supports a rotation shaft whose end is arranged with a movable plate.L'objet de l'invention est un dispositif de travail du sol en vue de son désherbage par une action mécanique et de son aération simultanée, comprenant un cadre C muni de moyens d'attelage (12,14) à un engin agricole, des moyens (16) de stabilisation, et au moins une paire de modules (18) munis chacun d'outils, disposés sur les côtés latéraux (D et G) dudit cadre et escamotable latéralement.
