PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement support system which supports movement of a care-receiver while utilizing a force generated by the care-receiver.SOLUTION: A movement support system 1 includes: a care belt 3 for holding a care-receiver; an arm 4 for supporting the care belt 3; and a control unit which estimates that movement of standing-up or seating is performed by the care-receiver based on a state of the arm 4 supporting the care belt 3 in a state of holding the care-receiver, and which moves at least one of the care belt 3 and the arm 4 so as to support the estimated movement.
