The present invention relates to a composition for inhibition of xanthine oxidase, containing a hydrolysate of abalone as an effective component. The hydrolysate of abalone, more specifically, a hydrolysate of abalone internal organs obtained by hydrolysis with at least one hydrolase selected from a group consisting of alcalase and neutrase is effective in inhibiting xanthine oxidase, and can be used as an effective component of a food composition for mitigating or preventing hyperuricemia-induced diseases, or as the effective component of a curative or preventive medical composition. Moreover, the hydrolysate of abalone does not cause side effects since the hydrolysate is acquired from a natural substance, thus takes a great industrial significance.본 발명은 전복 가수분해물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 잔틴 옥시다아제 저해용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 상기 전복 가수분해물, 구체적으로 알카라제(Alcalase) 및 뉴트라제(Neutrase)로 이루어진 군 중에서 선택된 1종 이상의 가수분해효소를 이용하여 가수분해한 전복 내장 가수분해물은 잔틴 옥시다아제 저해 효과가 우수하여, 고뇨산증 유래 질환의 개선 또는 예방용 식품 조성물 또는 질환 치료 또는 예방용 의약용 조성물의 유효성분으로 활용될 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 식용으로 사용되는 천연물로부터 수득한 것이므로 부작용 등이 문제되지 아니하여, 산업적으로 의미가 매우 크다 할 것이다.
