PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus that makes shorter the time required to start full-fledged imaging.SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray source, an X-ray detector, a gantry unit 3, an image reconfiguring unit, an image display unit, a bed unit, an imaging position determining unit, and a various parameter setting input unit. A gantry control unit 8 controls the start of rotation of a rotating part of the gantry section when the positioning of a positioned subject 1 is finished.
