The present invention relates to assembly for applying electrodes to a body. The assembly comprises a reference member to be disposed on an outer surface of a living body that has connection means for connection to a body. The assembly further comprises an electrode patch arranged to hold at least two electrodes in a pre-defined position. The reference member and the electrode patch are configured such that the electrode patch is rotatably held by the reference member, wherein the electrode patch can rotate with relation to the reference member.
