An apparatus or method for performing bone augmentation using a bag having two layers of membranes on one side and possibly a perforated layer of membranes on the other side. The bag can be filled with bone augmentation material. The bag can be used on the jaw with the side with one layer facing the jawbone and the side with the two layers facing the gingiva.
