The present invention relates to a medical device suitable for insertion or implantation in a patient, said medical device having a multi-layer coating on at least one surface of the medical device, wherein each layer of the multi-layer coating is obtainable by plasma deposition of a precursor mixture comprising (a) one or more organosilicon compounds, (b) optionally O2, N2O, NO2, H2, NH3, N2, SiF4 and/or hexafluoropropylene (HFP), (c) optionally He, Ar and/or Kr, and (d) optionally silver, gold, titanium, platinum and/or palladium； and the first/lowest layer of the multi-layer coating, which is in contact with the at least one surface of the medical device, is organic.La présente invention concerne un dispositif médical convenant à une insertion ou une implantation dans un patient, ledit dispositif médical comprenant un revêtement multicouches sur au moins une de ses surfaces, chaque couche du revêtement à multicouches pouvant être obtenue par dépôt par plasma d'un mélange précurseur contenant a) un ou plusieurs composés organosiliciés, (b) éventuellement, O2, N2O, NO2, H2, NH3, N2, SiF4 et/ou de l'hexafluoropropylène (HFP), c) éventuellement He, Ar et/ou Kr, et (d) éventuellement de l'argent, de l'or, du titane, du platine et/ou du palladium ； et la première couche/la couche la plus basse du revêtement multicouches, qui est en contact avec la ou les surfaces du dispositif médical, étant organique.
