PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which can be easily assembled and equipped with a fitting structure having an inexpensive branching member.SOLUTION: In the endoscope, a cylindrical member opening part 30 is provided on the sidewall of a cylindrical member 29 extended on the proximal end side of an inserting part, and a branching member 31 arranged in the cylindrical member 29 has a communicating part 31c between a first path 31a open in the axial direction of the cylindrical member 29 and a second path 31b open in the direction other than the axial direction of the cylindrical member 29. A butting part 35 for regulating the movement of the branching member 31 along the axial direction of the cylindrical member 29 is formed on the front edge of the cylindrical member opening part 30.
