PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum dot complex equipped with position identification by fluorescent imaging and high efficient drug release mechanism to living body tissues, and capable of being obtained without accompanying a complex synthesis process, and to provide vesicles containing the quantum dot complex.
SOLUTION: There is provided a quantum dot complex 1 which includes a quantum dot 10 having a core 12 composed of semiconductor nanoparticles and a shell 14 provided by bonding a polymer on the surface of the core 12 and having reactive groups on the surface, and an organism-relating molecules 20 bonded to the reactive groups of the surface of the quantum dot 10. Further, the quantum dot 1 is contained in the layer and/or on the surface of the vesicle composed of a phospholipid double layer.
