PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending resistance filter medium that not only allows a sheet with low pressure loss, high deodorizing performance and a high dust retention amount to maintain sufficient bonding strength but also can be fabricated into a pleat shape.SOLUTION: A filter medium formed by laminating a granular activated carbon and granular binder between nonwoven fabrics with two upper and lower layers has such a configuration that the nonwoven fabric of the upstream layer side is manufactured by a hydroentanglement method or a spun-bonding method the fabrics are bonded with a binder to be a sheet the amount of the binder of the upstream side is 20-40% to fiber meshes the granular diameter of the granular binder is 100-800 μm and the weight percentage of the granular binder in the granular activated carbon is 10-30%.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】低圧力損失、高脱臭性能、高粉塵保持量であるシートを充分な接着強力を維持し、かつ、プリーツ形状のフィルターに加工できる剛軟度を有するフィルター濾材を提供する。【解決手段】上下2層の不織布の間に粒状活性炭および粒状バインダーを積層してなるフィルター濾材であって、上流層側の不織布が水流絡合法またはスパンボンド法によって製造され、接着剤で繊維が固着されたシートであり、前記上流層側の不織布の接着剤量が、繊維目付に対して20%~40%であり、粒状バインダーの粒径が100μm~800μmであり、粒状バインダーが粒状活性炭に占める重量割合が10%~30%であるフィルター濾材。【選択図】なし
