A pharmaceutical composition, comprising: a plurality of microparticles, each including: (1) one or more crystals of a local anesthetic agent； and (2) a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) coating that completely encapsulates said one or more crystals, wherein the PVA coating is hydrolyzed at least 85% and constitutes 1-30% by weight of the microparticle, and where said one or more crystals of the local anesthetic agent constitutes 70-99% by weight of the microparticle and each has a dimension in a range of 35-500 μm.Una composición farmacéutica, que comprende: una pluralidad de micropartículas, incluyendo cada una: (1) uno o más cristales de un agente anestésico local； y (2) un recubrimiento de alcohol polivinílico (PVA) que encapsula completamente dicho uno o más cristales, en donde el recubrimiento de PVA está hidrolizado al menos al 85% y constituye el 1-30% en peso de la micropartícula, y en donde dicho uno o más cristales del agente anestésico local constituye el 70-99% en peso de la micropartícula y cada una tiene una dimensión en un intervalo de 35-500 μm.
