PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container for an orthodontic mouthpiece that can carry the mouthpiece without damaging it, can be easily unsealed, and can be used as a storage container after unsealed.SOLUTION: A packaging container X includes a packaging container body A with a cover part 3 provided through a hinge part 2 at the rear end of a plastic storage part body 1 having a storage part 1a of U-shaped cross section for storing a mouthpiece, and a label B made of paper or the like and bonded to the upper face of the packaging container body to seal. The storage part body 1 includes a first flange part 1b provided around the storage part 1a and forming the same plane shape as the cover part 3 along with the storage part 1a, and second flange parts 1d located at the respective right and left side ends of the first flange part 1b and extending outward from the upper ends of step parts 1c having the same height as the thickness of the cover part 3. Further, an engaging recess 1ba engaged with an engaging protrusion 3a of the cover part 3 when closing a cover is provided at the center front part of the first flange part 1b.
