To provide a cotton swab easily usable for cleaning, sterilization, treatment, skin care, cosmetic or cosmetic removal, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A cotton swab comprises: a hollow tube (4) holding liquid drug (4e) in a cavity (4a)； a closing end (4c) for air-tightly and fluid-tightly closing one end of the cavity (4a) of the hollow tube (4)； an annular recess (4f) formed in the circumferential direction on an external surface near the closing end (4c)； an opening end (4) for opening the hollow tube (4) in the other end opposite to the closing end (4c)； and a moisture cotton (5) covering the opening end (4b) and attached to the hollow tube (4).
