The guiding tunnel (11) is disposed above the flat moving surface (7) of the conveyor (6) such that the lower edges (21) of the lateral walls (20) of the tunnel (11) are close to the moving surface (7) of the conveyor (6) or are in contact therewith, and the entry (12) and the exit (19) of the guiding tunnel (11) are spaced apart in the direction of travel of the conveyor (6), wherein the guiding tunnel (11) is movable in a plane parallel to the moving surface (7) of the conveyor (6), and the device is provided with a drive which enables displacement of the exit (19) of the tunnel (11) in a transverse direction relative to the direction of travel of the moving surface (7) of the conveyor (6).
