The present invention relates to a composition which is in the form of a water - to - oil (e / h) comprising a dispersed aqueous phase and a continuous fatty phase, comprising at least one fatty acid ester of polyol, at least one wax of the honeycomb and of the particles of expanded polymers. The composition of the invention makes it possible to improve the sensory properties of the cosmetic compositions in the form of a water - to - oil, while allowing a more complete, minimizing the fatty residual film or sticking on the skin. It also has a good stability, in the short term (centrifuging) and long term, and when it is subjected to large variations of temperature, in particular, it has a great robustness when it is subjected to temperature cycles between - 20°C. and + 20°C.
