Die Erfindung betrifft eine Drehmomentbegrenzungseinrichtung mit zwei sich als Folge einer Schrägflankenanlage bei einer Relativdrehung um eine Achse (A) in Richtung nämlicher Achse (A) relativ zueinander gegen die Rückstellkraft eines sich an einer bei einer Kalibrierung eines Grenzdrehmomentes lageeingestellten Schulter (10) eines Widerlagers (9) abstützenden Federelementes (8) verlagerbaren Drehmomentübertragungskörpern (1, 2). Mit einem erfindungs gemäßen Verfahren wird die Drehmomentübertragungseinrichtung derart kalibriert, dass das Federelemente (8) mit einer vorbestimmten Kraft (F1) beaufschlagt wird.
