To provide an aqueous composition having excellent stability of vitamin A and excellent transparency and transpiration-inhibiting effect.SOLUTION: The aqueous composition in a first embodiment is provided that contains (A) 5000 to 50000 unit/100 mL of vitamin As, (B) at least one oil content selected from the group consisting of waxes, hydrocarbons, an ester oil and a vegetable oil, (C) a lipophilic antioxidant and (D) a nonionic surfactant. The aqueous composition in a second embodiment is provided that is identical to the aqueous composition in the first embodiment except that the aqueous composition further contains a chelating agent.
