The present invention relates to ready-to-use gel compositions for coloring hair in the form of an aqueous solution comprising:- at least one Acrylates/Methacrylamide Copolymer；- at least one cellulose derivative；- at least one cross-linked polymer of acrylic acid or methacrylic acid or salts thereof；- at least one oxidation dye and optionally at least one direct dye；- at least one alkalizing agent；hydrogen peroxide or an hydrogen peroxide adduct.
