PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article configured such that a region to be disposed facing a liquid discharge part (an orifice of the vagina) of a wearer swells easily, and is easily bent so as to be fitted to the body form of the wearer, wherein the absorbent article has excellent fittability when wearing.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1A includes: a surface sheet 2 a back sheet 3 an absorptive structure 4 disposed between both the sheets and vertical strip grooves 81 in both the sides 5s. The absorptive structure 4 has multiple block-like absorptive parts 41 between the pair of vertical strip grooves 81 and in an excretion area A. The multiple block-like absorptive parts 41 are intermittently disposed in the Y direction and are formed with multiple absorptive part rows 41f in the X direction. The block-like absorptive part 41 has a fiber material and a superabsorbent polymer.
