PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method including no fermentation process by yeast, for producing effervescent drinks which have low alcohol content and are suppressed in the occurrence of gushing when opening a lid of a package, and to provide effervescent drinks produced by the production method.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the effervescent drinks includes (a) the process of saccharifying a mixture containing a grain crushed product and water followed by boiling to prepare grain broth, (b) the process of decreasing the turbidity of the grain broth prepared in the process (a), and (c) the process of filtering after the process (b), the grain broth thus obtained and adding carbon dioxide to the filtrate thus obtained, or alternatively, adding after the process (b), carbon dioxide to the grain broth thus obtained, and filtering the product to collect filtrate.
