The present invention relates to a fishing reel with a replaceable hood top. According to the present invention, in order to protect the reel of a fishing rod mounted on the ground from damage due to abrasion or stress that might occur during fishing, a replaceable hood top is arranged in a hood disposed on the opposite side from a reel foot, so that a part of the hood that is prone to damage can be conveniently replaced, thus maximizing the lifetime by forming the hood top by a specific material, the fishing reel may gain enhanced scratch resistance, reinforced cushioning property, and the like and a DIY function may be provided that allows a user to select from a variety of hood tops, thus making the fishing reel more appealing to consumers.
