PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a report preparation support system which allows a user to easily understand a correspondence between a character string on a reading report and an annotation attached to a medical image linked to the character string.SOLUTION: The report preparation support system has a display control unit and a linking unit. The display control unit causes a display part to display a preparation screen for preparing a medical report to be composed of a medical image to which at least one annotation is attached and multiple character strings. When an instruction to move a medical image to which only a desired annotation selected by an input unit is attached to a desired character string in the preparation screen is given, the linking unit links the medical image to which only the desired annotation is attached with the desired character string.
