An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in accordance with the invention includes: an image information obtaining section configured to obtain multiple medical images in which a living tissue of a subject to be tested is imaged； and an image recognition calculation section configured to obtain motion information of the living tissue from pixel values of medical images at different time phases of the obtained multiple medical images and classify the medical images into predetermined types based on the motion information.
