An apparatus for the compensation of a differential error between a plurality of sensors of the surface of the body for the acquisition of the respective physiological signals from a human or animal patient, each of said sensors comprising respectively a transmitter, a receiver, and connected to an output of the respective receiver, a voltage load converter, apparatus comprising: a generator of the synchronization signal (2, 21) comprising an oscillator (1), to generate a synchronization signal; a channel for each respective body surface sensor, each channel comprising: (i) a current modulator (3) to receive said synchronization signal and supply a current pulse signal synchronized by said synchronization signal to the transmitter of the respective body surface sensor; (ii) a synchronous receiver (8) for receiving said synchronization signal from the generator of the synchronization signal (2, 21) and an output signal synchronized by said synchronization signal of the load converter in voltage (7) of the respective body surface sensor and supply a broadband output signal; (iii) an analog high pass filter (9) to receive the broadband output signal from the synchronous receiver (8) and provide a filtered output signal; and (iv) an analog anti-skid low pass filter (10) to receive the filtered output signal from the high pass filter (9) and provide an anti-skid output signal; apparatus further comprising: an analog-to-digital converter (11) for receiving the anti-lapping output signal from the respective channels of each respective body surface sensor and providing a digital output signal for the antegrade processing of the signal; wherein the signal from the synchronization generator (2, 21) also generates a digital representation of a sine wave and comprises a digital to analog converter (22) to receive the digital representation of the sine wave at a refresh rate greater than the frequency of the synchronization signal and convert it into an analog sine wave that has
