Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine endoluminal einführbare, exovaskulär/perivaskulär zu positionierende Vorrichtung zur Verbesserung der Elastizität eines pathologisch versteiften Blutgefäßwandabschnittes, die dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die Vorrichtung durch einen spiralförmigen Drahtkörper (V) aus einem solchen elastischem Material gebildet ist, dass der Drahtkörper (V) linear beim Implantationsvorgang elastisch gestreckt werden kann, ohne plastisch zu verformen und sich selbsttätig in seine Spiralfom zurückbewegen kann, und dass der spiralförmige Drahtkörper (V) radial ein- und ausfedern kann.
