PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food or drink or a medicine which uses a tea compound and has a COX-2 inhibiting and/or PGE2 biosynthesis-inhibiting action.SOLUTION: Tea compounds of 40 kinds separated from green tea, oolong tea and black tea have been offered, and researches targeting an enzyme COX-2 causing chronic inflammation and its product, PGE2, have zealously been performed.
