PURPOSE: A pill formulation containing herbs is provided to treat and prevent urinary incontinence and to reduce disgusting smell. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a pill formulation for preventing and treating urinary incontinence comprises: a step of drying and pulverizing Plygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc. root to prepare Plygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc. root powder； a step of drying and pulverizing Artemisia capillaris Thumb.； a step of mixing Plygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc. root powder and Artemisia capillaris Thumb. powder； a step of mixing with water and heating at 150-250 degrees Celsius for 15 hours to prepare Plygonum cuspidatum Sieb. et Zucc. root gel and Artemisia capillaris Thumb. gel； and a step of drying in a pill.본 발명은 요실금 증상 개선 및 치료용 환제(丸劑) 및 이의 제조방법에 대한 것으로서, 환제의 제조방법은, a)호장근 줄기를 건조한 후 파쇄하여 호장근줄기분말가루를 만드는 단계, b)인진쑥을 건조한 후 파쇄하여 인진쑥분말가루를 만드는 단계, c)상기 호장근줄기분말가루에 상기 인진쑥분말가루를 혼합하여 혼합분말가루를 만드는 단계, d)물 40리터에 호장근뿌리 1kg의 비율로 혼합한후 이를 10시간 이상 150-250도 사이의 온도로 가열하여 호장근뿌리농축겔을 만드는 단계, e)상기 c)단계에서 만들어진 혼합분말가루에, 상기 d)단계에서 만들어진 호장근농축겔을 혼합하여 환제를 만드는 단계 및, f)상기 e)단계에서 만들어진 환제를 건조시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
